In 2019, Fairway Sound and our clients gave over $55,000 to neighbors in need!

As a group, we were honored to close over 2,200 units in 2019. That equates to 2,200 individuals and families receiving a loan from us, and 2,200 contributions to local charities or community members facing a crisis.

Empowering Our Community to Thrive

Our branch and staff members are very active in the community, though we don’t always talk about it. We are basketball and little league coaches, mentors, community chair members, volunteer instructors. This is a part of calling Washington state our home, and our community truly our neighbors. Serving and giving is one way we want to set ourselves apart, and even better, it’s something our clients get to be a part of too.

Giving’s Been Part of Our Foundation

Since Fairway Sound was founded, starting as one office in Kirkland, Washington, the group has donated $25 to charity for every loan closed. In our early days, those donations always went to the American Warrior Initiative – a non-profit that supports veterans through grants, service animals and seeking to educate professional members of the mortgage and housing industry on how to better serve and thank these invaluable members of our community. We are still very involved with AWI and you can learn more about it here.

Fairway Sound’s Selection Process

In 2016, we began selecting other charities that meant a great deal to us as individuals at Fairway Sound. Now, each quarter we open up nominations to our group of offices, and as a whole choose a non-profit to support each quarter.

The selected charity receives $25 for every loan closed during its designated quarter. A committee also organizes community service events for our staff, friends, and family in support of the quarterly charity. And, the branch matches all employee donations made to the current charity during the quarter – helping employees maximize their giving. The charity has the opportunity to share about their mission to our onsite staff during a lunch and our marketing team works to help promote the organization and share about the good work they are doing.

Want to Help?

If you are interested in making a donation to our quarterly charity or joining one of our community service events, we’d be honored. And if you have a charity that has impacted your life greatly, we’d love to hear about it. Reach out to your loan officer – perhaps they’ll be moved to nominate them for our next quarter.

Fairway Sound will donate $25 in the borrower’s name, to any charity of the borrower’s choice. If the borrower does not pick a charity, Fairway Sound will send donations to one of the charities listed below. May not be redeemed for cash. One $25 donation per loan. Loan must close and fund with Fairway Branch 3000. Offer not available on bond loans. Special incentive
offer subject to change without notice. This offer not valid with any other incentives or discounts.
